EuroCave, a pioneering company that has become the gold standard for wine cabinets throughout the world.

It was whilst looking for a solution for storing his own wine that Monsieur Martin, an experienced wine enthusiast, invented “The EuroCave”. The very first wine cabinet. Since then, our dedicated teams have been working daily on defining and designing the products of the future. Many of our innovations are protected by patents. Our products are manufactured in France and distributed throughout the world by professionals specialized in storing and serving wine.

• 1976, the birth of a great brand

Through their love of wine, a team of wine enthusiasts created the first wine cabinets for storing wine and registered the EuroCave trademark. At 74 years of age, René Martin adopted this innovative and promising concept then started production by setting up the production plant in Fourmies (59). The first EuroCave cabinet was created!

• 1992, a new factory

The family company was acquired by a group of investors. The factory in Fourmies was completely rebuilt at the end of 1993, not far from the first EuroCave factory, in the place where it still has its headquarters.

• 1994, EuroCave goes international

EuroCave’s wine expertise spread to other countries with over 20 distributors and the opening of the first distribution subsidiary in Switzerland.

• 1997, a new flush-fitting range

EuroCave launched the Compact range, designed to combat space constraints and having specific dimensions adapted to the standards of kitchen designers in order to be able to be flush-fitted in kitchen units.

• 1998, the creation of the cigar humidor

EuroCave used its expertise in wine cabinets to create a product for cigar lovers – the cigar humidor. A unique solution for storing up to 1000 cigars. At the same time, our wine cabinet range was continuing to grow.

• 2000, the Millennium cabinet

EuroCave celebrated the new millennium by creating a special edition wine cabinet: “The Millennium cabinet”.

• 2001, the birth of storage systems

To meet the requirements of all wine enthusiasts, EuroCave created new modular storage systems (the Modulothèque) and conditioners to transform any type of room into a wine cellar.

• 2003, further customisation of your products

The wine cabinet range expanded to meet everybody’s requirements: leather finish, wood finish or the meuble à vins, the “Sommelier”, inspired by craftsman’s furnishings originating from Bordeaux.

• 2004, new lighting in the cabinets

To make it easier to read the labels of bottles stored in a cabinet, EuroCave offered in its cabinets a new interior lighting mode, soft amber, which bathes the bottles in a warm halo which is not harmful to your wine (UV-free lighting).

• 2005, the launch of the Classic range, our mid-range category

A year packed full of new products! EuroCave launched its new Classic cabinet range, combining major technological advances (management of humidity, temperature to the nearest degree) with a contemporary design. A new storage solution was also created with Modulocube, a simple, modular and adaptable range.

• 2006, EuroCave celebrated its 30th anniversary!

The brand created two Collector cabinets for the occasion: two limited edition cabinets decorated by designers with frosted arabesques on the glass and screen printing on the side panels.

• 2007, the launch of Inoa, the quietest single-piece conditioner on the market

EuroCave launched the first cabinet with remote temperature control, Origine, an ingenious modern cabinet for young wine lovers. At the same time, it launched its new cellar conditioner, Inoa, the quietest sing-piece conditioner on the market.

• 2008, 3 new patents

EuroCave filed 3 patents: NeoFresh, a revolutionary cold air production technology. The Main du Sommelier shelf, a rigid structure in two materials that perfectly adapts to the shape of the bottles and is flexible to protect the bottles from vibrations. Sowine, the first home winebar.

• 2009, the launch of products aimed at professionals

EuroCave launched EuroCave Professional, a range entirely developed in close collaboration with MOF* wine stewards for professionals.
